Extension

A good extension solves two problems at once: it creates space, and it lifts the coherence of the whole house. Foundation, structure, envelope and transitions simply have to fit — and the permit side must be settled before anyone digs.

Typical duration: Typically 3–6 months of construction plus permit processing.

Extensions are permit-heavy projects: building rights, plot ratio, distance requirements and the building permit must be clarified early. Our design phase resolves both the architecture and the legal basis, so the offer stands on solid ground.

We detail the junction between new and old down to the millimetre — floor levels, roof pitches, facade lines — because that is where extensions are won or lost.

Permit package Extensions require a building permit. We run the whole process: drawings, application, structural calculations and municipal dialogue — as a fixed part of the project.

The package model

Every project is delivered as a package: you choose construction scope (standard rebuild or new layout) and interior package (Essential, Select or Signature) separately. The price is locked in a binding package offer before the design stage starts.
